Paint Box Polish Christmas Candy Swirly Mints Nail Art

Press Sample

I love reaching for my Paint Box Polishes! This month's Indie Spotlight focuses on Paint Box Polishes and I knew I wanted to do festive nail art! It just so happens that the theme for the Winter Nail Art Challenge was candy. This was totally a coincidence! So two birds, one stone!

To create this look, I started with a base of Snowy Evening, which was on of the polishes available on Black Friday. It's a silver chrome polish with holo and silver flakes and it is perfect for the winter.

Then I was thinking about those after dinner mints that are red and white. I added green to be more festive. The red is The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors and the green is I Want to be THE Queen, both from the Westerosi Collection. I topped it all with one coat of top coat.

Duh, I had to matte it. When microglitter is matter, it's so cool. I think the matte actually reflects the mints better!

  2. I love that you matted this. I loved it, but something was off until I kept scrolling and it was matted. It reminds me of the darling glass blown candies.

    1. I feel like all the sparkles might detract from the design. Matte is just awesome. I know that glass and you're so right!
