California Christmas Nail Art with China Glaze Seas and Greetings

Press Sample

Yesterday I showed you the entire China Glaze Seas and Greetings Collection. Well, I took inspiration from the collection's inspiration for some themed art! Southern California probably never gets snow, so they can't make snowmen. So, hello sandman (insert Metallica reference).

I didn't use all the colors from this collection, but I did use 7 and used a black creme for some details. I decided to paint a sandman snowman, and instead of beach balls, those are ornaments. The black was supposed to be ornament hooks haha.

Base is Good Tide-ings, with Joy to the Waves as waves, and Sand in my Mistletoes as sand.

I used The More the Berrier for ornaments and the Santa hat. Partridge in the Palm Tree for Ornaments. Warm Wishes as the sandman's nose. And Snow Way for clouds and Santa hat details.

I topped it all with matte top coat.

So you can still be festive without the snow, I think! I do know for me, I need cold and snow in order for it to feel like the holidays!

The Seas and Greetings Collection is available now with select shades at Sally's. The complete collection will be at BeautyPlusSalon.com and retail for $7.50 each.
