Hello everyone! Quick NOTD for the weekend. I'm slowly waiting for my nails to grow out a bit, so I have a few swatches to share in the next few days. Hope you don't mind!

Ella + Mila I Mint It: 3 coats. This minty polish is a crelly, which means it's a jelly type polish but a creme. The first coat is incredibly sheer but the second and third help it to be opaque. It's a nice mint color--it's much more green than other minty polishes that I have. It dries super shiny on its own and I did not use any top coat!

Are these photos without top coat? If so, no kidding, that's amazingly shiny on its own! I feel like true paler mints don't work well against my skin tone so this slightly darker and greener version is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYes! I wrote in my post that it dries super shiny on its own, meaning I didn't use top coat, but I'll edit to make that clearer!
DeleteAnd absolutely! I happen to love this version and a paler minty version, but I can see how the paler one is more finicky (and usually gives me lobster hands!)

DeleteOh gosh, this is a lovely mint creme! I've never heard of this brand but the colour in this polish is fabulous :)
ReplyDeleteThey are a boutique brand so not quite mainstream yet. They are sold at C4N and a few other retailers!
