Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Comparisons

Press Sample

Hi all! I'm back from Cosmoprof 2015 today and wow, I have so much to show you! I stopped by Zoya again this year and saw their fall collection; it's awesome! But today I have the shimmer portion of of Zoya's Summer 2015 collection. I posted the Island Fun collection, the creme part of this collection, HERE. So let's looks at these glowy shimmers!

Zoya Paradise Sun Swatches and Comparisons

Genesis: 3 coats. - Crystalline white with a micronized metallic pearl finish. Designed to look like micro-fine diamond dust. I loved the softness of this color but you need to be delicate as application can be spotty. When I first used it as a base for nail art, I needed four coats, but I knew better the second time around.

Selene: 2 coats. True teal with a micronized metallic pearl finish. A unique shade with an aqua fleck that resembles deeper  layers of ocean water. This is a gorgeous glowy green, and as you will see below, looks similar to another Zoya. I prefer this color! And no staining for me with this one.

Mae: 2 coats. - Warm magenta pink with a micronized metallic pearl finish, reminiscent of vibrant Mediterranean flowers. This pulled very neon in my photos but it isn't. It's really just a very bright pink. Perfect for summer pedis.

Oceane: 2 coats. True turquoise with a micronized metallic pearl finish that reflects the clearest blue ocean waters. Another glowy shimmer like Selene; this one really reflects in the sun AND shade.

Aphrodite: 2 coats. Vibrant summer red with a micronized pearl metallic finish and multi-hued flash that brings it to life. This one has a different shimmer but it still glows. It's more like a real shimmer than metallic.

Isa: 2 coats. - Deep blue-based purple with a micronized metallic pearl finish and an aqua flash that embodies the beauty of exotic island flowers.  Love this! It's similar in finish to Selene and Oceane and pops.

 COMPARISONS:

Zoya Aphrodite vs. Myrta: Myrta is on my ring finger and you can see it is much more metallic and has a heavier shimmer.

Zoya Mae vs. Zoya Michelle: These are in the same color family. Michelle is on the ring finger and has a smoother, finer shimmer. I prefer Michelle but mostly because it's my name! The difference is much more obvious in the shade.

Zoya Selene vs Giovanna: Can you see the difference? Giovanna is also on the ring finger and honestly, it is very hard to see the difference. In the shade, you can see that Giovanna is the tiniest bit smoother but this is a case where you don't need both.

My favorites are Aphrodite, Isa, and Genesis, just use some patience with Genesis!
