Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer is re-releasing her Buffy the Vampire Slayer-inspired collection with some new additions and I have a few to show you today! I love this show. When I was younger, I had a tiny TV in my room with just 11 channels and Buffy was on one of them! I used to stay up late just to watch Buffy! So for me, I love this collection. The three I have are soft holo polishes with lovely flashy shimmers that make them super unique. Check out more photos below and details about this collection.

Dorkhead?! You Slash Me With Your Words (Xander): 2 coats. "Light green linear holo with a strong mint flash." Like I said, these polishes are very soft holo polishes, and while this pulls silvery green, depending on the lighting, the green does coat out. This polish had a great formula too.

Love Makes You Do the Wacky (Willow): 2 coats. "Light purple linear holo with a strong fuchsia flash." I love this purple! It's super girly and I appreciate that the holo isn't too strong because that is my preference. Also, great formula and I love how it looks on my skin tone.

Tact is Just Saying Not True Stuff. I’ll Pass. (Cordy): 3 coats. "Light taupe linear holo with strong green flash." This polish was thicker than the other two and does show brushstrokes so it needs more attention when you apply it. I preferred how it looks at three coats, mostly because since it was thick, it applied a bit unevenly at two (but you are warned, so you'll get away with two). On my skin, it was much more silver.

ReplyDeleteI honestly think it was the EXTREME humidity we've been having. It's still an awesome color! And yes, I think it's because I'm so pale right now. I plan on re-swatching once I get some color on me!
