I have a love of New Orleans. I love the vibe of the city; it's so beautiful and so full of culture. I still dream of living there! So of course, I need to do some Mardi Gras nail art to celebrate the culmination of the six week celebration which ends with Fat Tuesday on February 17th.

I started with a base of two coats of Pahlish Golden Nugget. It's probably my favorite gold polish ever. Then with the nail polish brush, I used Cirque Colors Pop! and Cirque Colors Lonesome George to add simple stripes. I like doing nail art that doesn't need special tools.
Lastly, I added one coat of my favorite Mardi Gras glitter, Red Dog Designs Harlequin Ball. I hope she re-releases it this year because it's so gorgeous! I love the diamond and big circle glitter and the extra holo sparkle. The manicure is so sparkly!
