Today I have Serum No. 5's anniversary polish, Another Year, Let's Cheer. I met the maker, Victoria, at Cosmoprof 2014 and she is absolutely awesome. Serum No. 5 Another Year, Let's Cheer Anniversary Polish

Admittedly, this is my first Serum No.5 and WOW. I knew she was known for glow in the dark polish, but this is so in your face. I swear I could see the glow in dimly lit rooms too. In the dark, it's a flashlight on your nails.

I started with 2 coats of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and then just painted half the nail with Orly Pretty Ugly for a "faux" gradient (I think I'll do a tutorial on this. It's a gradient without the work!). I added one coat of Another Year, Let's Cheer. This is a mix of white, black, grey, peach, and blue matte glitters in a sparkly grey holographic glow in the dark base. You can certainly layer 3 coats of this on your nails (maybe 2 if you have shorter nails). You can see on my index nail where I was a little heavy handed, that the grey base can be built to opacity. The glitter easily spread over my nail and I dig the beach look of this polish.

Then I charged my nails under a light bulb for 15 seconds, but to be honest, I'm not sure it needed it! The glow pigment is so strong, there's no need to charge the glow, at least not for a long time. I took the photos in my closet, with no manipulation of the photos. I also walked around my room and used my nails as flashlights. No joke. The glow lasted well into the night, and I fell asleep before the glow fainted.

I love this as a layering polish. I also love that it glows so well and isn't cloudy over my gradient. Another Year, Let's Cheer will be released July 24 at 12pm PST on her website HERE. Congrats on two years, Serum No. 5!
