Zoya Muse Comparisons

Press Sample 

Hello all! I am just over here grumbling because the snow from the January storm finally mostly melted and we are currently experiencing a blizzard with 2 feet of snow expected! I think there's 18 inches out there already with 40+ mph winds. No more! Anywho, I always like to do some quick and dirty comparisons of Zoya colors because many have similar vibes and your girl refuses to get another Helmer (which has also doubled in price, ugh!) so let's take a look! 

Octavia vs. Giada 

 

This one is for Tami! I actually love Giada and pull it out quite a bit. So I was also excited to see if these were close...but they are not! Octavia has looks of flecky sparkle and leans a little more blue than Giada.

 

Daphne vs Vesper

These are fairly close. Vesper is dustier and more blue vs Daphne. They are clearly different, but I am not sure I need both. I lean toward Vesper here. 

 

Vee vs Samara vs Trudith vs Odette 

Zoya loves these dusty and murky purples. And so do I! Honestly, I am not sure I need all of these. As I continued going through my polishes, I found more colors such as Henley that were similar. I am going to have to do a big pull out of my colors like this. I think Vee might be on the chopping block.

 

Liv vs Winona vs Mai vs Joni

These totally looked more similar in the bottle. Again, lots of these murky brownish reds and I love them. I need to pull them all out. I don't think I need both Liv and Winona. And I don't think I need both Mai and Joni. I think Liv and Mai will be the keepers, but not sure.

 

Maggie vs Velma vs Beverley

Velma and Maggie are closer than I though. I don't think I need all three. Again, I have to figure out which ones I want to keep. Beverely is much darker. I actually have to go back and compare it with Joni.

West vs Sylva 

 

I think I like the green of West a bit more whereas Sylva is a bit more muted gray so I think Sylver==a will be purged.

 

Natty va Navy vs Brett

Natty and Brett are closer than I though. I think Brett is on the chopping block. 

Obviously, these colors are all different, but it comes to a point where I don't have space for colors that are "similar but different." I recently met a bunch of new employees at my university, and actually have been giving out bags of polish to them. They love it! So I would rather spread the love than hoard and that is why I still do these posts!
