I can't believe tomorrow is Halloween! I'm not mentally prepared! Right now, the forecast says horrendous storms, but I do have a backup plan should the weather be terrible! But for now, we will see if the storm shifts! For today's look, it's one that I'm still wearing! I really wanted to a Halloween landscape. I always scour Paint Nite-type websites and I found something like the look below, so I went for it! It was actually a Pinterest of someone's painting and I couldn't find the exact painting on any site.

I think something that you usually see with art is the use of acrylic colors. People use them because they don't dry as fast and they are super easy to blend. Well for me, I use my acrylic paints on my canvases and I like to challenge myself by only using polishes to paint with! Sure, my blending isn't as smooth, but I think it's fun to see how the colors blend, even for nail polish!

• Pale Yellow: Jessica Cosmetics Yellow Meringue

 I sort of just went to town! I started with laying out the moon and then worked outward. I wanted to make sure I had enough space for my blood moon before tackling the other parts. Then I added the grass and trees. The painting actually only had the tree on the right, so my index would have been empty. I wanted to add another tree, just for the manicure to look more polished.

Also, I opted not to do this one my right hand. Usually I do the same art on my hands, but I went with a grey to black gradient instead and it looks nice!

I really love how this came out. It was fun to just sit and do my nails in a more artistic way with some blending!
