Makers Dozen returns September 1 and this month's theme is Birds. When I was in middle school, I loved birds, and for a hot minute, wanted to become an ornithologist. I'm not even kidding. My middle school teacher did a whole unit on birds and even had a pair of Love Birds in class, which he gave to me when he retired! I also had 13 pet birds. I'm serious. Okay, enough about me, let's get to this polish which will be available September 1 and only 40 were made.

Hello! Today I'm sharing a special polish that releases this Friday, August 23 and I wanted to get it posted because it's LE and available in limited quantities. When I first entered the nail polish community (probably around 2010--I may have been on Make Up Alley even earlier!), we used to send each other RAOKs, or Random Acts of Kindness. Sometimes it was a polish I really wanted, or a fun Halloween package. RAOKs were just so fun, so I'm really digging this new group! It's always nice to be thought of or to make someone else smile.

Hello all! If you weren't aware, Indie Expo Canada is coming up! This is in Toronto, Canada August 17 and 18. I went last year and it was so fun! I had all intentions of going again this year, but the dates just don't work out for me as it's right before I start my semester and I drive to the location. Oh well. Hopefully next year is earlier in the summer!

My other one just has a clip and I don't love how loose it is and plates fall out. So I figured, let's try out this plate holder!

Polish Pickup starts this Friday and the polishes are really standouts. After I swatched the KBShimmer Mirror Mirror in the Stall Polish Pickup color, I knew I wanted to wear it again!
