Aurora Lacquers has been doing a peacock theme for Polish Con and I'm digging it. It started with the Road to Polish Con polish and now there's an entire collection of peacock polishes! I just went to the Bronx Zoo last week and they let peacocks roam free around the zoo. They were flopping everywhere and some had their gorgeous feathers exposed. They are always fun to look at. Those feather patterns are just unique!

I mentioned in my Pusheen art post that using one of the colors for art made me want to wear the color. Well that color was Girly Bits Let Love Grow! I wore it for 2 days as its own mani. I was pretty reckless, washing dishes without gloves, cooking, cleaning, so I did have some tip wear. I decided to do an extend a mani with a little 15 minute art!

Pusheen is always a mermaid and for March, that's the theme. I haven't been much in the mood for art lately. I'm in such a funk. At least I'm doing one freehand a month with these Pusheen manis and I hope I get out of the funk soon. I've just been feeling white and pastel nails for me. Very clean and plain. In fact, after this art, I put one of the colors back on!

We love to trot down to AC for a day of gambling and salt water taffy and relaxing! So I wore this neon manicure when it was rainy and grey. Why not?!

I cannot believe today is Fat Tuesday, the end of Mardi Gras! I love Louisiana and I was able to go to Mardi Gras in 2011. I believe it's time I go again! Well it hit me yesterday that today was Mardi Gras and I was so sad I didn't do any nail art. Luckily, I was swatching polishes for Polish Con, which happens to be in NOLA on August 6th. I ended on swatching some very Mardi Gras-themed Turtle Tootsies and decided to mix a bunch together to make a fun skittle manicure.
