Born Pretty Red Glitter Peel Off Polish in North Part

Press Sample

Hey there! Today I have a short and sweet post with a new series of nail polishes from Born Pretty! They released a huge load of peel off polishes, which seems to be the new trend! I'm seeing a lot of brands releasing sparkly polishes that are peelable, so removal isn't as frustrating. Today, I'm sharing a 6ml bottle of polish called North Part!

North Part: 3 coats plus top coat. Holy wow this is a THICK polish! I believe that's why I needed to do three coats, as it needed leveling and top coat to finish it up. If I use it again, I will definitely need to thin it.

The holo sparkle sort of disappears on the nail and it's more like a subtle sparkle with loads of shimmer on it. The result is a shimmery raspberry color.

Here's how the polish looked when I tried to peel it. It didn't come off in a perfect sheet but rather in pieces and you can see, I still needed to pull out some remover to get it all off. I only wore this for a few hours as I needed to swatch more later, so maybe if I wore it longer and it dried a full 24 hours, the peel would have been better.

  1. Interesting to know BP have bought out a range of peel off polishes. This one is very pretty. I find that the longer you wear a peel off polish, the better it peels.

    1. That’s why I mentioned my wear time. I agree that it might peel better with more wear time. It probably wasn’t “fully dry” even though I went about my day.

  2. I bought a couple of these to try and when swatching on a artificial nail, wow, it was like trying to brush on jam! The brushes on BP's wee 6 ml bottles were hard to use for these ones as well. I am not dismissing the line of peel-off glitters until I use in an actual manicure, however the jury's out until then.

    1. Lol jam! Brushing on jam is the perfect description. I will definitely try thinning it next use because this was just too thick for me. I didn’t mind the brush but it may have contributed to the application of the thick polish. I think I’ll have to give it another chance

  3. You are right...it seems like this is a trend. I've never tried peel off polish, but it looks interesting.

    1. I feel like I always end up using remover 🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. When I tried a few of these I wore one for a few hours and it came off in small flecks, the other for a day and the peel off was the same, and yes the glitter was thicker than the creme one. Lovely colour though x

    1. Since polish technically does take 24 hours to fully dry, I wonder how these peel off after a couple of days. But with the flecks, I would prefer to just use remover.
