Lechat Dare to Wear Spectra Holo Collection, Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Oh you're going to want to take a sit, grab a snack, and fully enjoy a collection of 12 brand new holos from Lechat Dare to Wear. I didn't even know Lechat came out with holos and was fully expecting their gorgeous spring creme collection to arrive. When these arrived in it, I was so giddy that I previewed them on my Instagram. These are intensely holo with such unique colors!

Here was my preview on Instagram, so make sure you are following me on that platform!

Each polish is 2 coats with no top coat! I wore one with top coat and it didn't make any difference in shine, nor did it dull the holo. The first two photos are in direct sunlight and the third is in artificial lighting.

Mars: 2 coats. Ahhhh this is one of my favorites of the collection. It's a deep coral holographic--when was the last time you saw one of those?! I love that it's a pinky orange and it's just an amazing color.

Shooting Star: 2 coats. I was so shocked that this was two coats. The formula on these are top notch. It's creamy but it doesn't diminish the holo. I am a huge fan of yellow, so this is a star for me. The holo is so rich.

Outer Space: 2 coats. This is a dark voilet holographic and although not a purple person, I like this one. It has almost a dusty quality, with just enough blue. Very pretty.

Neptune: 2 coats. Green!! I love green and this is the first of three greens (and they are all very different). This is a rich emerald, grass green. It's super pigmented and could be one careful coat. Because of that, watch for removal for stained cuticles. I had some green but it did come off. No staining on my nail beds.

Gemini: 2 coats. Heyyyy, this is my zodiac sign. Initially, I was like mehhh of course my sign would be a blue. It's just so basic. Then I put it on! It's like a cornflower, almost periwinkle blue. Way more awesome than your standard blue. Never judge a polish by the bottle!

Nebula: 2 coats. Oh my word. How to describe this?! Now, the company describes this as a soft salmon. I don't see that as I consider salmon pink. This is like a taupe, milk chocolatey color. I haven't seen anything like this. It gives me vibes of OPI Desire, a super old, HTF, brown holo. But this one is more holo and way creamier. Oh my, you need this.

Galactic Pink: 2 coats. Another two coat shocker. I thought the lighter colors would be a pain, but nope, same great formula. The light colors are SO holo but they retain their color. Usually, holo pigment washes out colors but these still look rich.

Asteroid: 2 coats. Another weird yet awesomely unique color! It's described as a gold color but I see more like a light brown with orange undertones. I think skin color will play a big part in this color. I have yellow undertones so maybe that's causing it to move toward an orange color? I would love to see this on a variety of skin tones. No matter the color, it's unique and beautiful.

Nene: 2 coats. The second of three greens--here we have the lime! So holo! It's a definite lime color, with yellow undertones. I really love lime green, so I have nothing negative to say!

Gravity: 2 coats. This is a much deeper blue than Gemini. This one is an ultramarine, blue, just super rich an gorgeous. It reminds me of DS Original. Oh my! I think this is just beautiful.

Aurora: 2 coats. This one is definitely a crowd please. This berry magenta color is beautiful, and definitely something most people love. It's gorgeous! So rich in holo.

Jupiter: 2 coats. The third green is a lovely teal. It's rich and pigmented, so again, watch for staining of cuticles. I didn't wear it long enough to check for nail bed staining. But it's lovely so I'm fine with that!

What I love about this collection is that they all unique colors with creamy holographic formulas. Some of them remind me of OPI DS series holos, which were released well over 10 years ago, and had thinner formulas. If you missed out on those, you need these. These have much better formulas, and overall, I can't wait to use them again! It's hard to pick favorites when each one is so unique and lovely. Mars, Asteroid, Nebula, Gemini, Shooting Star, and Neptune are some of my favorites, but I'm blown away by these!

These retail for $11.95 on the Lechat site. There's actually 6 more colors which I think were part of an older release. Check out all the colors to purchase HERE. Some of the shades will also be available in Perfect Match gel!

Let me know which ones are your favorites?! This is such an epic collection!
