Girly Bits Glass Scale Dragon

Press Sample

I'm back today with another Polish Pickup polish! Remember, there will be about 18 makers contributing and you get to pick and choose if you want one polish or all! Girly Bits contribution is absolutely amazing and if you love flakes, holo, and shimmer, then you need this polish!

Girly Bits Glass Scale Dragon

Glass Scale Dragon: 2 coats plus top coat.  This polish was inspired by the mosaic dragon sculpture by Gaudi at Park Guell in Barcelona. Barcelona is one place I really want to go to! My dad lived there way before I was born and always talks about it! This polish is an aquatic blue scattered holo (but it is so holo in the sun!), with a mixture of blue and silver holo, bronze, red, blue and violet flakes, and blue and violet shimmer. There's a lot going on in this polish but it comes together. I see the bronze and violet flakes the most.

The polish is entirely smooth but top coat adds a nice shine because the flakes make it dry down a bit matte. I wish I matte'd this polish, but believe me, I'll be back with some nail art before the sale is over and I'll make sure to matte it!

In the sun, the holo is crazy strong!  Definitely more than a scattered holo. I think it will make any holo lover happy. Check out the violet shimmer!

The shade shows off the dimension in this polish. So many layers of fun!

I've shown you three this week, but there's 18 makers participating! As you can see from these three, they are all different finishes and all so gorgeous! I can't wait to see all the other contributors and pick up something for myself!  This polish will retail for $12.50 USD and will be available via the Polish Pickup site from April 7- April 10.

  3. eeeeep!! thanks!! You are right, it IS very holo. I was just hesitant to say straight up holo because there is so much going on. I guess it's really a mix of linear and scattered, and glitter xoxo Thanks for sharing!!

    1. I can see why you wouldn't call it a linear because of all the other elements but holy cow, it is holo!!!!

    1. Yea it's awesome. But I'm happy how it looks in all lighting. The worst is when a holo is such a dud indoors.
